Private Client Solicitor:
We are recruiting for the role of Associate Solicitor or Associate Legal Executive for our Private Client Team.
Contract Type: Full time or part time. Minimum 4 days.
Location: Office based with flexible working applications considered after successful probation.

We are recruiting to replace a team member who is planning to retire in advance of their retirement. The successful applicant must be able to hit the ground running in a busy
department. Varied caseload of Wills, LPAs, Trusts, Estate Administration and Court of Protection. Providing an excellent service for high-net-worth individuals.
Technical Skills:
Need to be able to see the whole picture of a case and at the same time have
an eye for the fine details.
Accuracy in drafting, whether deeds, LPAs, Wills or estate accounts and figures.
Comprehensive knowledge of inheritance tax for the purposes of tax planning and estate administration with ability to draft the appropriate documentation to achieve this.
Capable of dealing with issues of capacity, undue influence.
Knowledge of the various grants of representation involved in estate administration and how to apply for them.
Ability to read, understand and explain technical documents for clients in a language they understand

Experience:
A professional with a minimum of 3 years of PC experience, a proven track record of independently managing a caseload, with a strong understanding of Wills, LPAs, Court of Protection matters, and Estate Administration. Trusts experience is desirable.
Qualification: Solicitor or FCILEX
Professional Memberships: STEP or SFE desirable
Quality standards: Experience of working to quality standards for Lexcel and WiQS desirable
